Chirmiri is a hill station and a Municipal Corporation in the Koriya district of the state of Chhattisgarh, India.

As of 2001 India census, Chirmiri had a population of 91,312, 53% male and 46% female. Chirmiri has an average literacy rate of 66% (male 75%, female 56%), higher than the national average of 59.5%. 14% of the population is under 6 years of age.
